The K&N 63-3109 AirCharger air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake box. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake obstruction while smoothing and straightening the airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air filter box allows. More air equals more power and usable acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-3109 air intake features a K&N high-flow air filter and rotationally molded air box that circulates air through a custom-molded intake tube to the engine’s throttle body for guaranteed power gains. The oversized air filters can last up to 100,000 miles before maintenance is required (depending on driving conditions). This air intake is relatively easy to install: all you need is a screwdriver, a socket set, and several wrenches. This air intake system cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states that adopt California emissions standards.

An enclosed air box design helps protect the filter and inlet air from the heat of the engine bay, and the air box lid allows for quick and easy access to the filter without tools. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine, and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. These systems are paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design of the filter allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. The system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Some intakes are not legal for sale or use on any pollution controlled motor vehicle in California.
